Dr. Ahmad Abazid M.D,FAAFP has been board certified family physician since 2010, After graduating from Aleppo University School of Medicine, he completed three year internship at Carolina Medical Lab in Charlotte, NC, where he served as an Assistant Medical Director, he moved to Texas to start his Family Medicine Residency, at UT Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas Affiliated program in Wichita Falls, TX where he served as a chief resident, a core faculty, an Assistant Professor of family and community medicine at UTSW and Texas A&M, he also served as chairman of family medicine department at United Regional Health Care System, he moved to New York where he completed a geriatric fellowship at State University of New York, Downstate in Brooklyn, NY. 

When he returned to Texas, he established one of the largest family medicine programs in the country.

He is currently an Associate Dean of Clinical Science at Xavier University School of Medicine, 

He is also the founder of Awesome Care where he is treating patient in Richardson, Dallas Texas.

Dr. Abazid is a fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians, and an approved Civil Surgeon by the United State Citizenship and Immigration Service to perform Immigration exam.

He is married to his wife who is a local OBGYN physician, together they have two boys and a girl.
